Personal Stories

Victims of mesothelioma live in all 50 states and have been diagnosed at widely varying stages in life.

As you will see when reading these stories, these people had everything to live for when mesothelioma cut short their time with their families and friends. Some worked directly with asbestos, but many worked in asbestos-laden workplaces for as little as a few months. Others were the family members of those who were working directly with asbestos, and the deadly fibers were brought home on clothing or in their hair.

The Committee To Protect Mesothelioma Victims (CPMV) and others fighting to stop the Asbestos Trust Fund Bill are currently focused on preventing this pro-business, anti-victim asbestos reform bill from becoming law. In the long run, however, our struggle must be to find a cure for mesothelioma and justice for the workers, veterans, and others who were exposed to asbestos while doing their part to build the American dream for the rest of us.

These are just a few of the many stories we hope to feature on our website in coming months. If you have a story you would like to share, please contact us.
